Background

Prampram Senior High School was founded in the year 2005 as a private school. The school started with a population of 54 students but now has a population of over 1207 students. The school has 529 boys and 678 girls.

The school is a co-educational institution which provides boarding and day school residential preferences for all students. It is located at Prampram in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, situated on a 20-acre land. It has a well-furnished administration block, a library, a science laboratory, a computer laboratory, a Home Economics block, a Visual Arts block, a dining hall, a sick bay, a sports field, and a staff bungalow.

The school also boasts a spacious canteen that provides healthy meals and snacks for students and staff. The sports field is well-maintained, offering facilities for football, athletics, and other sporting activities, encouraging physical development and teamwork. Although the staff bungalow is not adequate and is currently occupied by senior staff, it provides comfortable accommodation for teachers and staff, ensuring a supportive environment for effective teaching and learning during and after school hours.
